About My Hand Drawn T-Shirts,
"Bringing my subject to life in the form of a drawing or a painting be it on canvas or on a t-shirt requires one thing of me every time. It is not to “copy” line by line from the subject as a simple method of transferring the image. Doing so simply diminishes the value of the artwork. Before I begin to create, I reach deep within for an understanding of my subject. I employ all of my available senses to gather and absorb as much detail as possible. In doing so, it allows me to move from reality and enter the conversion process through the chosen tool, the brush or the pencil. I allow the flow of energy, the atmosphere, and the very moment to determine the outcome of my creation. I like to refer to It as “The energy of moments” for each moment is unique, it has its own set of fingerprints, therefore each work of art is never replicated. It carries its uniqueness. It takes on its own character, absorbing its very own moment. They become a conversion of life’s unique moments.
